Need help with Assassin/Any build...
So, I've been doing PvE mostly, and have been getting into PvP more, and have been testing this build/equipment, but I think it needs some improvement.
1. Shadow Refuge
2. Deadly Paradox
3. Augery of Death
4. Dancing Daggers
5. Entangling Asp
6. Iron Palm
7. Signet of Toxic Shock
8. Res Signet
Vigor
Vitae
Survivors
+1 Dagger
+1 Critical Strikes
Dakroots Daggers
Deadly Arts 12
Dagger Mastery 11
Shadow Arts 8
Critical Strikes 3
Here's my plan...
Critical Strikes and dakroots keep my energy up (very heavy energy requirments). Dagger mastery to meet requirements (you could probably go paragon and use a spear, or go dervish and use a scythe if you wanted). Deadly arts to support the majority of skills. Shadow arts to keep +8 health regen (I figure that could counter up to -8 degrade most of the time, or allow me to back off and heal up). Secondary really doesn't matter... so I'm open to suggestions on that.
My goal is to inflict poison, deep wounds... I'd like to incorporate bleeding some how too. Knockdowns are a big part of it as well. I sort of get the feeling that this might be effective in shutting someone down for a short time and keeping them on their ass, but the recharge time/energy requirements don't provide the return on investment to really spike someone down very fast. Sometimes if I don't get them down, I'm waiting so long for full skill recharges, they heal back to 100%, while I'm spamming daggers and hitting for white damage.
Any suggestions to make this better? I don't have EOTN, so skills form there are out...

Currently you have no elite, drop shadow refuge for lyssa's aura and go /me. Then spec 14 deadly arts and 12 inspiration.

What lord said. Assacasters are not built for survivability, your goal is to spike as often as you can. If you die, then your monk was shitty or you didnt kill fast enough. But shadow refuge isn't worth the spot when lyssas aura will let you keep your energy up.
Edit: ditch the daggers, get a staff for more energy. You're a caster, not a melee sin. between spikes, just spam dd and avoid getting killed.

get a staff instead of daggers and use energy mangement such as Assassin's Promise[i like this one better] or Lyssa Aura, remove points from dagger and put them into shadow arts to help with ur squishyness
